About the Role
Williams Protection Firm is hiring vigilant and customer-focused Unarmed Security Guards to ensure the safety and security of client properties, employees, and visitors. This role requires excellent observation skills, a professional presence, and a commitment to enforcing site-specific protocols while delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patrol assigned premises on foot or via vehicle to monitor and report suspicious activity.
- Maintain a high-visibility presence to deter theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access.
- Monitor surveillance equipment and access control systems as required.
- Enforce site policies and post orders consistently and professionally.
- Provide assistance to employees, visitors, and contractors as needed.
- Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents with appropriate actions and documentation.
- Complete accurate and timely reports of daily activity, incidents, and unusual occurrences.
- Communicate clearly with supervisors, clients, and emergency services when necessary.
- Perform regular safety and equipment checks, ensuring all hazards are reported.
- Escort individuals to and from designated areas upon request or as assigned.
Working Conditions:
- Shift work may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Work may take place indoors or outdoors in a variety of environments.
- Standing or walking for prolonged periods may be required.
Requirements
Must be at least 21 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
Reliable transportation
Prior security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred
Must pass a criminal background check and drug screening
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
Professional demeanor and appearance at all times
